Every product on this site is sold under a strict Research Use Only (RUO) certification. Read this page in full before ordering.

This page is general boilerplate for a research-compound e-commerce template and does not constitute legal advice. Whether a given compound can lawfully be sold, shipped, or possessed under an RUO label depends on federal law, the law of the buyer's and seller's states, and how the product is actually marketed. This varies and changes over time. Have this policy, your product listings, and your marketing reviewed by legal counsel before operating a real store on this template.

1. What "Research Use Only" Means

"Research Use Only" (RUO) means every compound sold on this site is manufactured, tested, and labeled solely for laboratory, analytical, and in-vitro research use by qualified personnel. RUO products are not drugs, biologics, medical devices, dietary supplements, foods, or cosmetics under the U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. They are not intended, labeled, or approved for use in or on humans or animals, whether by injection, ingestion, topical application, or any other route.

2. Buyer Certification

By creating an account or completing checkout, you certify that:

  • You are at least 21 years old;
  • You are purchasing as, or on behalf of, a laboratory, research institution, university, or other entity equipped and qualified to handle research chemicals;
  • You will use any product purchased solely for in-vitro laboratory research, and not for human or animal consumption, injection, or application in any form; and
  • You will not resell, repackage, or redistribute any product for a use inconsistent with this policy.

A false certification is a material breach of our Terms of Service and may result in order cancellation, account termination, and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

3. Not FDA Evaluated or Approved

No product sold on this site has been evaluated or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or any equivalent foreign regulatory body for safety, efficacy, or any use in humans or animals. Any published research referenced on a product page or Certificate of Analysis is provided for scientific and educational context only and is not a representation about safety or effectiveness outside a controlled research setting.

4. Required Handling & Facilities

Products should only be handled by personnel trained in laboratory safety and chemical handling, using appropriate personal protective equipment, in a facility equipped for the storage and use of research chemicals. Refer to each lot's Certificate of Analysis for identity, purity, and storage guidance before use.

5. State & Compound Restrictions

Some states and countries specifically regulate or prohibit the retail sale, shipment, or possession of certain research peptides and related compounds, regardless of RUO labeling. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to confirm that a compound is lawful to purchase, receive, and possess in their jurisdiction before ordering. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we believe the destination jurisdiction restricts the compound ordered. 7. Enforcement
